    You lived in the tombs
    In your boasting robes
No one can bind you anymore
Cause you tore the chains apart and broke

Night and day among the tombs
You cut yourself deep with stones
    You write yourself suicidal poems
You run away and cry your soul

    You woke up screaming aloud
You roar your way among the crowds
You pray your pains on your secret god
You feed your fears one by one

You thought your faith are hopes to die
Until you see that Jesus come
From a distance you saw Him down
You ran and fell your kness on the ground

You shouted at the top of your voice
"What do you want with me,
Jesus, Son of the Most High LORD?"
Swore to God he won't torture you
You will be set free from this world of doom

    Your demons tantrum in fears
Before the LORD they shook on their knees
Until the honey spread itself so thin
The LORD's mercy has set you free

So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.  ~ Mark 5:20

Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God ... and to their children? Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That's courageous. -- Official Site

Many topics raised in the light of gang, drugs, immigration, absentee parents, divorce, immigration and poverty which is very relevant I guess. But the core of the message they want to address is FATHERHOOD and MANHOOD and the film is successful on presenting the critical factors of those aspects.

    Is masturbating wrong?

The Bible never explicitly mentions masturbation as a sin. The Scripture most frequently pointed to in regards to masturbation is the story of Onan in Genesis 38:9-10. Some interpret this passage as saying that “spilling your seed” on the ground is a sin. God condemned Onan not for “spilling his seed” but because Onan refused to fulfill his duty to provide an heir for his brother. This passage is not about masturbation, but rather about fulfilling a family duty. Another passage sometimes used for masturbation’s being a sin is Matthew 5:27-30. While there are parallels between this passage and masturbation, it is unlikely that masturbation was what Jesus was alluding to.

The Bible doesn't say anywhere that masturbation is a sin. And yes I agree. But let's not stop from there.

As a single man, I cultivate certain ideas, thoughts and images of a "perfect sexual being" , I create an idol that replaces a complete love for my future wife. I replace Chr...

For us Christians, marrying an UNBELIEVER is unwise, and so as dating with them. I had a change of heart actually, prior to this my point of view on dating/marrying an unbeliever is okay the mere fact is that I am the man and the woman will submit to me anyhow. But what if she did not submit? Well she will witness hell!!! har har har!!! (Just a joke to make this blog lighter). What changed my mind and heart? Definitely GOD, for 3 years it was only now that I was was lead to such decision on being firm with my conviction and it is what GOD desires for me. Well I desire to become a "Man after God's own heart" afterall. And it's time to be firm on my stand (now that is being a MAN!!!)

The very famous 2 Corinthians 6:14 tells us not to be “unequally yoked” with an unbeliever. Well we know and i know that this passage does not specifically mention marriage, it definitely has implications for marriage. The passage goes on to say that there is no harmony between Christ and Belial. There ...

    POWERFUL THINGS CAN BE DESTRUCTIVE...

SEX is a powerful thing, now please don't get me wrong on how I view sex as a single person, SEX is the most wonderful gift God ever gave to us BUT UNDER THE CONTEXT OF MARRIAGE... Sex within marriage is pleasurable, and God DESIGNED it that way. God wants men and women to enjoy sex within the CONTEXT of MARRIAGE. Song of Solomon and several other Bible passages such as Proverbs 5:19 clearly describe the pleasure of sex.

Some of us touches that powerful things and then got burned. Some of us have made bad choices in regards to our sexuality. When we sin sexually, it brings us guilt, pain and shame. On my part, I even came to a point of having difficulty to forgive myself. The good news is that God is able to heal our sexual brokenness and restore the innocence we have lost. I do not want to sound like I am justifying my sin, but that is how God's forgiveness works, it's unfathomable that NO ONE will ever understand by any ...

Well it is valentines season and there will be a lot of film that portrays about love will be in the movie house. Not only in cinemas but even at the comfort of your living/entertainment room through various T.V. shows whether local or international series.
I suddenly realize oh, this "kilig" or feel good films/series are somewhat like I called "EMOTIONAL PORNOGRAPHY". I remember watching once, favorite T.V. shows SMALLVILLE where Lana and the teen Clark will have this eye to eye contact and then I will feel uneasy on my couch. Or The film A walk to Remember and the Notebook. Please do not shout on me, those films are incredibly good, I am not being legalistic or conservative here, I actually thought at first that maybe I just tried to view everything as a sexual object that is why I am being like this.
You see, what I am trying to say is that eye to eye contact and then what's next or it gives you that rolling down on your couch feeling??? It feels like they are trying to conv...

It has been more than six months since I left the ministry that I served for more than three years, the Kids Ministry. It has been the most wonderful years in my life or so, but this time I had to do what is right and where God is leading me. I was sad and probably the initial reaction of anybody cause there was an attachment on my part, but GOD is more important than this feeling of sadness and attachment. I had wonderful friendships that started and ended in the ministry, I saw kids come and go and grew up in my eyes. Leaving the ministry  became an instant turning point in my life. There was a sudden huge change on my part, things suddenly became uncertain  and what is next??? I was basically left with a question on what is next???
It was a wonderful three years I would say and I started to assessed my stay in the ministry.  Certain thoughts in me like did I glorify GOD on those years or it was more on satisfying the lust for attention? Did I follow His purpose for ...

From The Inside Out (Hillsong United)

So last Sunday during the worship, I sang “these” lines coming from the wellspring of my life. For me it was like worshipping Him despite of my failures. I cannot believe that I can come to GOD boldly despite of my inequities. I can come to a King and open to Him my heart as if talking to a friend (Exodus 33:11). That is what JESUS did, He sees my righteousness, the righteousness that He gave me.

FAILURES… I failed GOD more than a thousand times and if I to write them down, the list will just go on and on and on, so I guess it is better not to list them here (lol). With those failures, at times, it brings me guilt, pain and shame, but thanks be to GOD because there is NO CONDEMNATION in Christ. I guess it is okay to exp...

From a fisherman to a disciple
    From catching fish to people

You make a decision to follow Jesus
And from Simon your name became Stone (Aramaic: “stone,” Greek: “Petros,” which in English is rendered as Peter).

You were one of the three main apostles
Along with James and John, you were chosen
To be present during important moments
To Jesus, and regards as one of His closest

    You witnessed the transfiguration
You tried to walk on water with Jesus
You prompted Jesus’ sharp reply (“Get behind Me Satan”).
Still you are part of the closest ones.

How was it like when you deny Him thrice?
How was it like if when He asked you thrice?
Did you ever get jealous with John?
And why asked Lord, what about him (John)?

I am writing down dear Peter
Asking Lord what about him? (not John)
But God has the same reply to me
What is that to you? You must follow Me…

He came to a broom tree, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. "I have had enough, LORD," he said. "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors." Then he lay down under the tree and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, "Get up and eat." He looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again. The angel of the LORD came back a second time and touched him and said, "Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you." So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

    ~ 1 Kings 19:4-8

Reading these verses, it reminds me on how I came to this point several times. I had countless suicide attempts in the past and whenever those resulted to failure, I would pray to GOD to take my life cause I've had enough... I would tell Him I'm tired and I cannot do this anymore.

    But in times like ...

Theres this haunting story I read on one of the blogs in tumblr. The story was from Tim Keller which is about a boy who was notoriously sexually promiscuous. But it was more than just lust. Gaining “notches on his bed post” was a source of identity for him. It kind of proved that he was a man, gained the admiration of his buddies, and gave him a sense of power over women.
During his junior year of college, he got involved with campus ministry and “got saved”. He quickly got “on fire for Jesus” and gave an inspiring, bold testimony of his new commitment to Christ.
However, Keller says, there was still something “off” about him. He was not a very enjoyable person to be around. If you were in a discussion with him, he had to show why he was right and you were wrong. In a small group he wanted you to recognize his opinions as insightful. He always wanted the positions of prominence. The guy had all the external signs of love for Jesus. He had repented of his sexual promiscuity....

I have to make ways not to get bored. So most of the time if I am not reading my bible I would be reading blogs and doing researches in regards to theology. Calvinism  and Arminianism got my interest, though I'm not really up for any friendly debates for the two, I would rather consider myself as a follower of Christ. And there are still many things that I do not know. So here are some of the fruits of my boredom (hahaha)

Calvinism and Arminianism are two systems of theology that attempt to explain the relationship between God's sovereignty and man's responsibility in the matter of salvation which both can be summarize in five points. Calvinism is named for John Calvin, a French theologian who lived from 1509-1564 while Arminianism is named for Jacobus Arminius, a Dutch theologian who lived from 1560-1609.

I wrote this blog for single men and women and this is just my opinion on dating/courtship so you can make your own blog if you will refute this ^_^ (hahahaha)...

So, this blog is about considering the body of Christ in your relationship or if you are planning to pursue a relationship. So for those who are already in a relationship, this one goes to you as well.

Considering my track record, I maybe the wrong person to write this blog that is why I'm gonna try to support my view with a word from God.

so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. ~ 1 Corinthians 12:25

As Christians, when we date or when in a relationship with someone, we're not basically dating a man or a woman, we are dating a member of Christ's body (given if that someone is a Christian), if you are dating a non-Christian then, that's another story, try to dig some few more page below on this blog and you will see my stand on that...

    As a responsible membe...

So, basically, it looks like that I am bored again (hahaha)!!! This entry is somewhat like a sequel to my previous entry "Calvinism vs Arminianism". So when we talk about monergism vs synergism, theologically speaking, we’re talking about who brings about our salvation. Monergism, which comes from a compound word in Greek that means “to work alone,” is the view that God alone effects our salvation. This view is held primarily by Calvinistic and Reformed Traditions and is closely tied to what is known as the “doctrines of grace.”  Synergism, which also comes from a compound Greek word meaning “to work together,” is the view that God works together with us in effecting salvation. Calvin and Arminius aren’t the creators of these views, but are the best-known proponents of Calvinism and Arminianism. If one believes election is unconditional, then one will tend toward a monergistic view of salvation. Same thing as  if one holds to a view that election is condional based on God’s f...
